Peter S. Eckert & Company, Inc. provides comprehensive real estate appraisal and counseling services from its offices in Newport News, Virginia. The firm serves a broad spectrum of clients in the private and public sector. Peter S. Eckert, CRE, MAI, Founder and President, has been active in the appraisal industry for 30 years.

Although the company is widely known for its expertise in multi-family appraisal and consulting, we conduct appraisals on all types of real property including office buildings, shopping centers, retail/commercial structures, industrial buildings, special purpose properties and vacant land. Counseling assignments include buy/sell decisions for individuals, companies and municipalities; highest and best use studies; marketability and feasibility reports; speculative development strategies; and a variety of other issues relating to real estate decision making. The firm continues to provide expert witness services for litigation support in most of the area courts.
